How Metrika360 puts current BIM innovations to work in practice.
With the release of Autodesk Revit 2026 on 2 April 2025, the software brings a series of significant improvements. They aim to make working processes in architectural design still more efficient and more precise. As a company deeply engaged with modern BIM workflows, we at Metrika360 are currently evaluating how these new features can enrich our daily work.
Accelerated Revit Graphics (ARG): more performance for large models
One of the outstanding new features is Accelerated Revit Graphics (ARG). It uses current GPU technology to speed up graphical display considerably, particularly on complex models. Working with extensive projects thereby becomes noticeably smoother and more responsive.
Although ARG is currently still in technical preview, early tests are already showing convincing results. We are looking forward to the full implementation and will use ARG deliberately in our design processes in future.
View placement: consistency and efficiency in producing drawings
Another useful update concerns the improved arrangement of views on sheets. The feature makes it possible to position views precisely and uniformly across several sheets — a clear advantage for the quality and traceability of the documentation.
On multi-layered projects in particular the improvement is noticeable. For us that means less time spent on layout tasks and more capacity for creative and technical design work.
Pele AI: AI-assisted help for repetitive tasks
Pele AI, Autodesk’s AI feature for Revit, has been available since December 2024, with a functional update in February 2025. The intelligent assistant lets users handle routine tasks — creating views, organising sheets or annotating components — efficiently, using natural language.
The automation Pele AI brings fits seamlessly into our aim of continuously improving internal processes and freeing up capacity for more demanding work.
Technological change as an opportunity
As a design practice with a clear orientation towards the future, it goes without saying that we follow technical progress actively. The new features in Revit 2026 give us concrete reasons to rethink established workflows and develop them further in a targeted way — always with an eye on quality, benefit and long-term efficiency.
We choose our software tools not for their novelty but for the value they add. We also assess Revit 2026 critically and use precisely those features that bring our projects genuine progress.
Outlook: future-proof with well-considered technology
Every new Revit version creates opportunities to refine our own design methodology further. Features such as ARG or Pele AI show by example how smart technologies can help us make design still more intelligent, more sparing of resources and more centred on the user.
