Often only a few days lie between laying a service run and closing the wall. After that, what is in there can no longer be established — unless it was surveyed beforehand. That is exactly what this service is for.

Every survey sits on the same control points. Only that makes two points in time comparable at all — without a common spatial reference they are two models lying side by side.

When the need arises

Before walls, floors and shafts are closed
On construction sections that are handed over
Where claims are to be expected and the state could become contested
On conversions in occupied buildings, where a second visit is expensive

The commercial point is not the survey but its timing. A week later the same information costs opening up a component.

What you receive

Per survey visit, the registered point cloud in the agreed format together with the derived documents the project needs — floor plans, sections, photo documentation and, on request, a walkable tour of the construction state. On building projects the tour is often the most useful item: the recipient needs no software for it.

What the documentation is worth for a certification

In the DGNB system for new buildings (2023 version), criterion ECO2.7 rewards complete as-built documentation at project completion. Anyone documenting the course of construction component by component anyway collects that evidence along the way instead of reconstructing it at the end.
